Ladies Auxiliary information

 

The purpose of this organization is Faith, Friendship, and Service. The Ladies Auxiliary

provides the opportunity for wives, (mothers, daughters, granddaughters, sisters and

widows) of Knights of Columbus members to come together with the primary purpose of providing assistance to the St. Catherine of Siena - Knights of Columbus Council 8156. This assistance may include help at KOC sponsored events, fundraising and set-up and beautification of facilities. The organization also provides the opportunity to form friendships and serve Christ by serving our church and our community.

 

Auxiliary Meetings

 

Ladies Auxiliary meetings are held once a month September through May, with many social, charity and fund raising events scattered throughout the calendar year. Meetings are currently being held at the Shady Hollow Community Center, 3303 Doe Run, Austin, TX  78748 on the fourth Monday of every month at 7:00pm.  A notice is generally put in the bulletin for two weekends before a monthly meeting.

We provide spiritual and cultural enrichment to our members by the following activities:

      Pot Luck Dinners

      Crafts and Games

      Handmade Cards and Scarves for those in need

      Charity Support

      Guest Speakers and Presentations

      Spiritual Growth

      Knights Gala and Golf Tournament Support

      Recognition Events - Wives Appreciation Dinner, Awards Banquets

      Social Events

 

About our Auxiliary

St. Catherine of Siena Ladies Auxiliary was chartered in 1982. The St. Catherine of Siena Auxiliary members are active participants in their Parish community and in providing funds and labor for various projects.
